The Heart Behind the Message

A PERSONAL NOTE FROM JODY:

My desire to raise not just confident but capable kids was solidified while walking through one of the hardest seasons of my life. My biggest fear in that season was that my kids would become another divorce statistic, that they would be “screwed up” by what we were about to walk through. I was determined not to let that happen.

I became committed to helping them thrive.

As I dove into research and through more than a decade of being a mom, I discovered something life-changing: Raising confident, capable, thriving kids does not require a complicated formula or secret trick.

What I needed to raise confident and capable kids was already inside me. It is inside every parent, leader, and mentor, but many do not realize the impact they have or know how to yield the power they have been entrusted with.

That discovery became the foundation for my book, The Parent’s Secret Superpower, and the message I now share with parents, caregivers, educators, and leaders who want to use their words to shape confident and capable kids.
